Though we've grown over the years, we've never lost sight of the fact the serving our customers in a personal fashion is what sets us apart.
Founded in 1962 as a "moonlighting project that got out of control" in the basement of Dave Schilling's home in Galion, Ohio, we started by working on a Christmas card screen printing project with local high school students. Not only were the local students very talented, but Dave's abilities earned him a reputation for creating quality, creative screens. Word spread. And, soon, local businesses were relying on Dave Schilling to create screens for their businesses. Schilling Advertising was born.
Over the years, Schilling Graphics has thrived as an independent firm and wholly-owned subsidiary of three major corporations, the most recent being Ferro Corporation. Having regained our independence in 2003, we've continued to grow through acquisitions and mergers that have strengthened our position as the leading source for screen printing pre-press services, photo tooling and screen fabrication.
In 2000, Schilling Graphics acquired Concept 4 of Owatonna, Minnesota. Concept 4 was a leading provider of quality screens for architectural and automotive glass. Screens from Concept 4 have been used in noted U.S. and international buildings such as the award-winning Los Angeles Convention Center and the Bellagio Resort in Las Vegas.
In 2004, Schilling Graphics merged with Carter Screen Inc of Livonia, Michigan. Carter Screen, founded in 1961, helped pioneer automotive glass screen printing applications with Ford Motor Company.
Today, Schilling Graphics operates facilities in Owatonna, Minnesota and is headquartered in Galion, Ohio, serving customers involved in all facets of screenprinting in the U.S. and the world. Our comprehensive online e-Catalog includes safety and protective products, product preparation and cleaning and maintenance supplies, as well as screen printing supplies and process control equipment. |
